£140,000 for an old postcard!
Gustamps customers were all talking about the postcard which sold at a stamp auction for £140,000. One of the main topics of conversation at Gustamps shop last week was about a 1918 postcard sent by Pablo Picasso. Gustamps heard that the card bears a drawing by Picasso. According to Gustamps the postcard was sent by Picasso at the end of the First World War in 1918 to his friend Guillermo Apollinaire in France. Sales of postcards at Gustamps shop has been brisk and Gustamps manager commented that the sale of the rare postcard for £140,000 seemed to have sparked off extra interest in old postcards at Gustamps in Brighton. Gustamps customers are reminded that Gustamps have postcards and PHQ cards for sale at Gustamps shop from as little as 5p each. Gustamps also give away PHQ cards free of charge to new customers to Gustamps. You are invited to call into Gustamps shop in Brighton for your free PHQ cards from Gustamps.
